General Information:
The Specialized Pediatrics and Medical Genetics Department is the first and only department in Uzbekistan specializing in the treatment of children with endocrine and genetic diseases.
A team of qualified specialists conducts a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating conditions such as diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia, growth disorders, sexual development disorders, thyroid and parathyroid gland diseases, adrenal gland diseases, pituitary disorders, and other endocrine diseases.
Genetic doctors diagnose and treat hereditary diseases such as chromosomal abnormalities, congenital and inherited syndromes, and multiple developmental defects. In addition, medical genetic counseling is provided to families for the early diagnosis and prevention of hereditary diseases.
The department utilizes the center’s laboratory services to conduct genetic tests in a timely and high-quality manner according to international standards.
