Main Responsibilities of the Cardiac Surgery Department:
1️⃣ Surgical treatment of heart and cardiovascular diseases – addressing congenital and acquired heart defects, heart valve pathologies, coronary artery diseases, and other conditions.
2️⃣ Performing complex cardiac surgeries – including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve replacement, aortic surgeries, and other types of heart operations.
3️⃣ Treatment of heart defects in newborns, children, and adults – diagnosing and surgically correcting congenital heart diseases in infants.
4️⃣ Postoperative intensive care and rehabilitation – ensuring patient recovery after heart surgeries, conducting resuscitation, and overseeing the rehabilitation process.
5️⃣ Implementation of minimally invasive and innovative cardiac surgery techniques – utilizing modern surgical methods with smaller incisions.
6️⃣ Utilization of high-tech medical equipment – working with advanced technologies such as artificial circulation machines, pacemakers, and catheterization devices.
7️⃣ Performing heart transplantation and other complex operations – conducting heart transplants in specialized centers.
